SensiLab workshop in Prato, Italy, 5-7 July 2023.
From the 5-7 July 2023, SensiLab will host a workshop on practice-based research at the Monash University Prato Centre in Prato, Italy.
Titled, RESEARCH IN ACTION, the workshop will be a unique opportunity for anyone interested in research through creative practice, providing an integrated programme of activities dedicated to practice-based research focusing upon digital culture and the creative possibilities of technology.
The concept of research action* will be interrogated through an open-ended discursive exploration into the ways we generate and produce new understandings of digital culture and creative technology through forging connections between practice (pertaining to professionally constituted or disciplinary fields; undertaken through different modes and for different purposes, i.e. creative, design, curatorial, experimental, investigative, etc) and research (methodologically, as a process undertaken with certain applicable techniques or methods, as a cultural construct).
If you are a Monash University PhD candidate, this workshop can be counted towards your professional development hours.
To Attend
